The event was billed as the 'Oscars of the travel industry' - there were red carpets, cameras and - most importantly - trophies to be won.
We joined around 400 invited guests at the very glamourous award night, which took place on the eve of ITB Berlin - the largest international travel trade fair.
The criteria for the best practice award were worded straightforward: The Travel Industry Club were looking for “...a company that has brought a successful business idea to the market in the last three years, which has broken new ground, set new standards and differs significantly from competitors.”
The Acomodeo Ecosystem was described by the judges as 'trend setting'.
Our unique suite of products enables business travellers and corporate travel managers to search and directly book serviced apartments via an online platform. What also impressed the judges was the way in which we have used knowledge and best practice from the hospitality industry and applied it to the market of serviced apartments.
